Jean-Baptiste is a co-founder of Mata Capital and supervises the team.
He has 16 years of real estate investment experience. He started his career in 2002 with the Vinci group in the real estate development subsidiary.
In 2005, he joined UBS Global Real Estate (formerly Siemens KAG) as Director of Acquisitions & Arbitrations to develop the French team (7 employees). He executed over € 950 million investments in the office sector in Paris (and Western Paris) on behalf of foreign institutional funds as part of the core+ and value-added strategies.
In 2011, he was convinced the real estate market was undervalued, he joined the launch of Primonial REIM as Investment Director. For four years, he oversaw a team of 20 employees responsible for acquisitions, asset management, and arbitrations. Since 2011, over € 5 billion had been invested across various assets class: office, commercial, residential housing, education and healthcare. Jean-Baptiste was also involved in raising funds from French institutional clients, and in structuring new funds.
Jean-Baptiste received his double Master of Science degree in Management, with a major in Finance, from Kedge Business School and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.
